‘Oh Life’s Beautiful’ is the creation of three sisters who physically live far apart but share common passions and experiences. It was born out of an urge, a curiosity and a way of channelling energy into a positive direction. The goal is to help ourselves and other women along the way with simple nourished living.

You will find well-researched articles on nutrition to help you better understand your food. With healthy and easy-to-make recipes, you will be able to add variety, health and taste to your meal. Our recipes are a melange of Indian food and food from around the world.

Moloya, the big sister. I am a qualified Food, Nutrition & Dietetics professional. Through Oh Life’s Beautiful- nourished living, I am here to help you on your journey to uncover your best self through nourished living.
I am a mother of two well-behaved, happy kids and a wife of an incredible husband. Apart from being a mother and wife, I am doing my doctoral research on foods and their bioactivities. When I am not busy with family, I teach Food, Nutrition & Dietetics, at a university in my town. Needless to say, I love what I do!
But most importantly, being a working mom and having lived on this planet for over four decades, I have gathered ample experiences, which remind me every day, that life is indeed beautiful.
This blog is a blend of both my professional and personal experiences, which makes it relatable to parents. Whether you are keen to raise a healthy eating family or looking to embark on a health journey yourself and seeking genuine information without fluff, you have come to the right place!
I believe food is the most important and primary attribute that we should consider while talking about health and happiness. We are what we eat! Food nourishes our body and satisfies our soul. Hence to achieve a balanced, happy body and mind we need to know our food. My approach to food is flexible and focused on wholesome nourishment of the body rather than depriving it. Food does not have to be fancy and gourmet to be nutritious, a simple preparation using the right ingredients can bring you all the benefits!

My name is Kusum, partner and co-contributor at Oh Life’s Beautiful.
For half of my living life, I was a vegetarian of some sort, ate only veggies and eggs. My undying love for cakes kept me from giving up on eggs! I love baking, experimenting with ingredients and trying out recipes plus creating new ones.
Food and nutrition took a whole new meaning for me after becoming a mother. More so when I left India and had to cook with ingredients that were new to my palette.
I am a pro at DIY, I think I got this gene from my dad. I love fixing stuff and excellent at assembling flat packs! And when I’m not busy with cooking and DIYing, I enjoy having fun with family, exploring nature and gardening!

My name is Lakshmi, the youngest and also the most loved and pampered one. My motto in life is to live life to its fullest.
I am the mother of two enthusiastic little boys whose innovations are yet to understand any limits and have a doting husband.
Being a working mother, life is a constant stream of challenges! I seriously believe becoming a mom helped me grow into a better human being. I am sure you would agree that juggling between work and family needs quite a bit of organisation and creative skills. We all want to provide a happy environment and nourishing wholesome food to our family and ourselves, don’t we? This is where talking to my sisters and sharing info & tips helped me a lot. And Oh Life’s Beautiful – nourished living became a happy medium!
I work at a bank and you guessed it, all things money or finance in this blog are my input! I strongly believe, to have a wholesome and nourished life, you need to have financial freedom. And the only way to get that is to understand the basics of money management. As a woman, I love educating other women and believe that if a woman understands the household finances, the entire family prospers.
When I’m not busy with the above, I love reading, spending time with my boys, and trying out new dishes. So apart from money stuff, you’ll find some indigenous, nutritious recipes of mine.
